Now you don't need to have a large confusing keyboard to enter your customer's order. Each key on the CRS 3000 can be programmed to display up to seven function keys or menu items! For example, one key can be simply labeled "Manager." Using a special key the manager can access up to seven functions from that keyboard location. This provides six additional keyboard locations for menu items or other functions. And since there are five livels on the CRS 3000 system, these manager functions can actually be completely hidden off the keyboard. Large complex menus can be simplified with the table look-up function too. For example, one key can be labeled "yogurt." When the operator depresses "yogurt" up to seven choices can be displayed.
